Home for the Holidays

I'm staying here in Las Vegas while my girlfriend flies to New York this afternoon. Her grandpa lives there and doesn't want to live him all alone for the holidays. Now, some of you might wonder why she didn't just fly him here and the reason for that is because he can't really travel anymore. It's nice that she's doing it but I am missing her a tad bit. 

On the other hand, I will be flying to Los Angeles to see some of my family and best friend. To which I'm very excited about. Also, I decided to save my vacation days for next summer so I'm working all week. Who else is stuck behind the computer while everyone else is on holiday? If that's you, I feel for you. I really do. 

But luckily, the holiday does fall on a Monday so we still have the weekend to enjoy. I would hate it if it was actually on a Wednesday! How would you even celebrate it then? Anyway, I would love to know what your plans are for the holidays! 

Mine is to send all day with my best bud on Saturday, then hangout with family on Sunday and fly back at night on Monday. The weekend can't come any faster, right? On Friday, we'll be going to celebrate our holiday Christmas lunch at a restaurant which is exciting because we leave right after that. 

Who else is doing Secret Santa by the way? Cus our office is also doing that. I don't want to mention who I got because some coworkers actually know this blog, but I want to say that my girlfriend helped me pick out a gift that was quite creative.
