7 Benefits Why I Love Drinking Coffee
Are you one of those people that researches their food while eating them? I'm guilty of the habit. I would literally eat a squash and look up their nutritional value thinking, 'damn I'm doing such a good job right now.' If I'm the only one, please lie to me and say I'm the only one!
Right now, I have this craze about coffee and I just wanted to you all to know about it.
1. Coffee helps burn fat. There's a reason why coffee is found in so many fat burning supplements, and can boost the metabolic rate by 3-11%. This really motivates me to drink more.
2. You can grab essential nutrients from coffee. It's more than just an energy booster. You can fine magnesium, niacin, potassium, manganese, pantothenic acid, and riboflavin in a cup of coffee. Pretty impressive right?
3. It can lower your risk of Type II diabetes. There is a huge problem with our nation and diabetes. Especially with type II. For that matter, people who drink coffee can significantly reduce their risk in developing this condition.
4. It can lower your risk of Parkinson's disease. Parkinson's disease causes the death of dopamine-generating neurons in the brain. In a study, there was a significant reduction of developing this disease for coffee drinkers.
5. It helps you fight depression. With depression being one of the most serious mental disorder, you know you'd want to get on the wagon and drink some coffee to help you.
6. It can lower your risk of heart disease and stroke. Say, what now? While high blood pressure can be an issue, it only affects the score by 3-4 mm/Hg and it usually decreases when you regularly drink coffee.
7. Coffee provides the most antioxidants in the western diet. Not a lot of us are getting the antioxidants we need from proper nutrition so the closest we can get to that is coffee. Which, by the way, has a lot of antioxidants.
Is anyone else an avid coffee drinker like myself?
