5 Ways I'll be Spreading the Holiday Cheer

Who else is excited about the holiday season. As some of you all know, Hanukkah started last Tuesday which is exciting for many of my Jewish friends! And as of today,  we only have 11 more days until Christmas. Who else is frazzled about holiday shopping? I know I am because I have a lot of people on my list. Thank God for online shopping, right?

But there's also something special about this season, and that is spreading the holiday cheer. On this article that I just linked, my favorite one was purchasing coffee for a stranger. It's something so small that definitely goes a long way. I love it! Here are some of the things I will be doing for the next 11 days to do my part:

1. Pay coffee for the two people behind me.
2. Volunteer to feed the homeless at church.
3. Host a holiday party, and give the excess food to a local shelter.
4. Create a small charity drive with my friends to donate to the less fortunate.
5. Donate to our local toy drive.

I didn't want to overwhelm myself with a lot of things to do, but let's hope I'm able to do all of this just in time for Christmas. Some of my friends are actually doing some unique stuff like visiting an elderly who don't often get visitors. Actually, a friend of mine has been doing this, and she said that it is very rewarding as many of the elderly feel neglected. It's a shame really.

Who else is planning on spreading the holiday cheer? If so, what will you be doing?
