Travelling for the Christmas Holiday

I booked a flight to New York for the holidays, and I cannot be anymore excited to see my family. I only get to see them less than two weeks every year until one of them decides to visit me here at home. It's always a joy to see them especially since I don't have family here in Vegas. Nonetheless, it will be lots of fun.

But my mom is a big cook in the family. I can't imagine all the food I'll be eating while I'm back east. It'll be a treat, but I have to remember that fitness is on my mind. Remember about my worry about the holiday weight gain? That's still too real of a concern for me which is why I've been very careful with what I eat.

Do any of you have friends who tend to eat alot when they're with friends but don't seem to gain weight? Gosh, I have a lot of those peers that are just #blessed. But then I realized, what if it's just a show? I'm thinking maybe the only meal they eat all day is the ones when friends are around. I don't actually know their daily diet so why am I comparing myself to others? That's been the case for me lately but I've learned to fight through it.

Anyway, I'm wondering how everyone's Thanksgiving was! Was it fun? I know people who are already on the holiday rush. As in watching Christmas movies, going on holiday shopping, amongst others. This is where I'll leave off!
