My November Lifestyle Goals

I'm still new to this blog so bear with me because you will be seeing a lot of changes especially with the layout here. I've been so busy with everything relating to work and fitness that I've neglected everything else. So I decided to make some all-around goals.

November Fitness Goals

  • Hire a person trainer. You know that feeling when you've plateaued? That's me. I haven't seen any signs of progress for a good two months already. Everything I've been doing is maintenance which is driving me a tad bit bonkers. I need to hire a trainer just so I can learn from them. I heard some people will only do a few sessions until they fully understand what they need to change. Hopefully, that would be my case.
  • Jog for 30 minutes every morning. I'm not a morning person, but I'm really trying because there's just too many things you can do when the whole world is still asleep. I love the calmness entailed to it which is why I'll start running in the morning instead of after work.

November Food Goals

  • Eat home-cooked meals everyday. This one's going to be a challenge! When I was growing up, my mom used to cook everyday. I feel like I took advantage of that especially because I never appreciated it until I moved out and hit with a reality that I have to fend for myself. Now, I need to make it a habit. I'm not sure how my mom still cooks everyday, but man, it's exhausting. Anyway, I'll have to ditch fast food for this month.
  • Don't waste food. Pretty sure I'm not the only one here who's thrown away food from two weeks ago. I hate wasting food. Sometime when I'm in the market, I think, 'Oh man, I want to eat that during the week.' But it sits there in the fridge just rotting.

November Lifestyle Goals

  • Start and finish a book. I've had my eye on Born a Crime by Trevor Noah, and I've heard many good things about it. November is the month I'll be immersing myself on a good book. At least, I hope it's good.
  • Rekindle friendships once a week. We all have friends we haven't spoken to in a long time. When we say, "we should hang out soon." those are only pleasantries, but what I really want is actually do it!
For anyone who's made November goals, I'm wishing you all good luck!

  1. Sounds like you have some great goals lined up for November. I need to work on making sure that I'm not wasting food as well. I know that meal planning will help me achieve this.

Good luck with all of your goals this month!
